becos the mosquitos at ubin are juvenile, dunno why the guide used this adj, which means when they suck blood, they only choose 1 target among the huge group. so, i got millions of mosquitos which means i damn suay lah.

anyway, i saw a papa horn bill at pulau ubin today!
i've been to pulau ubin zillions of times, yet today was the 1st timei saw a hornbill. OHMYGOD.

i know it's a papa becos the guide told me so. ohmygod ohmygod. i didn't know there were horn bills in ubin.

plus the papa was looking for food for the mama & his 3 other kids.
i know this fact becos i'm a holy. i'm sooooooooooooo powerful that i can even read the mind of a bird okay! hahah. dream on lah, yenlin. u've to wait for an eternity if u want that kind of power.

shortcut to super power: do good deeds. karma okay. see. 10years of dharma education ain't wasted :P

ubin's doing some horn bill project whereby they installed cameras in the hornbill's nest & outside the nest. one to spy on the mama & kids while the other to check that the papa is doing it's job.

conclusion: volunteers are scientific people who care a lot bout the environment, kpo people who have a lot of free time on their hands observing the animals to know more bout their nature.
ha. ubin has 20 over hornbills & the numbers are still increasing can!

plus they 'work' part-time as guides to students like meeeeeeeeeeeeee. okay lah, to the tourists too.

PULAU UBIN GOT SCARE-CROWS ONE LEH. & WHILE THE GUIDE WAS EXPLAINING THE SCARECROWS TO US, SOON KENG WALKED PAST.

USES OF THE SCARECROW: TO SCARE WILD BOARS AWAY. THEREFORE SAVING THEIR agriculture.

hahahah. i felt so bad when i saw him. mygod.

in short: i enjoyed the science enrichment prog today.
